Hope you enjoy it. Don't worry too much about what you're forgetting. Over time you'll have a list of steps for getting ready, and for setting up once you get where you're going. It's a process, takes time to pare things down to what you really need, and will get easier with each trip out.

I've not heard the term dispersed camping before either. Guess it's the same as dry camping (no power or potable water supplied). Done it a week at a time with our travel trailer on state land. Just making sure we had plenty of water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning up was my only big concern.

Came out nice. Have you tried printing in PETG? It would be more durable than PLA, and you wouldn't have to do reprints as often.

He looks just like our lab chihuahua mix. Our dog sits around with his tongue out like that all the time. He's smart, but a dork.

I had an older lady call me to ask why I had been calling her phone. Had to explain that scammers were faking caller ID numbers, it wasn't me, and everyone was dealing with the same garbage phone calls. She was initially ready to chew me out, but deflated pretty quickly when she realized her vexation would have to be vented toward someone else.

Don't worry, he only has it set on "stun".

Their spices are great, and they have some really good blends they've created. Used to live where they had a shop in town, miss being able to go in and browse. Now we just mail order every few months.

Well, there IS a picture. On mobile, didn't see it the first time. Yeah, with a single wheel mounted like that on an arm, that gate is definitely going to sag over like that. Maybe add another of those wheels on the opposite side so the support is balanced?

With a gate that long you may have to attach a support wheel on the bottom. You'll always have sagging issues using wood. I tried doing a 4x8' gate for the parking area where I put my camper. Would always sag over time, even with heavy hinges and steel cable on the diagonal. Land was sloped so couldn't do a support wheel. Ended up having to do two 4' gates either side instead.

I bought a couple usgs maps of the local mountains about 8 years ago, but that was the last time. Used to buy the map book for Michigan every few years when I lived there. Had pretty detailed prints of all the roads, waterways, state lands, and even marked hiking trails. Great for finding streams for fishing and places to camp. But now printed maps seem hard to find. Local gas stations don't have them, and I've noticed that rest stops on the highway don't give them out anymore either. Used to hit rest stops in every state I drove through when traveling to get new ones for the glove box.

I came across this, had fun. Took the Dirty Arty route, started lobbing dynamite at them then ran in with the shotgun. Very entertaining, and even managed to not get Arthur killed in the process.

Our international partners began moderating the intelligence they would share while Trump was in office. They couldn't trust him to not blab about state secrets during dinner parties just to try to impress people with how smart and important he was.

Used to have fun playing the RPG with friends back in the late 80s and early 90s. Always liked the background to the game, the blending of tech, magic, and fantasy realms. Looks like all 3 of those PC games are on Steam, have to put them on the wish list.

Found $500 that way last year. Windy afternoon, blew into the parking lot from the main road. My thought of "holy shit, cool!" was tempered by the next thought of "this is gonna suck for whoever dropped it".

It has been popular. People were traveling out of country for joint replacements. Costs were less for travel, surgery, and recovery than what they would pay for it here. Covid put a damper on travel for a couple years, so not sure if it's still as popular. I would consider it if/when I need knee replacements done. Considering what I've heard about the quality issues of joint replacements in the US, I don't want one here.
Sounds like he's doing ok.
I love that having a 3d printer means you can create custom parts when you need them. I wanted a set of leveling brackets for a router table insert. Sketched up something in Solid Edge, sent it to the printer and a few hours later I have what I need. Nothing complex but functional. Used PETG on this set. ![](https://lemmy.zip/pictrs/image/2cd10106-e249-47d6-b40e-997ffbaeb08a.webp) ![](https://lemmy.zip/pictrs/image/d6a1cb72-bd0d-46ba-86bf-a8489d136fc4.webp)

Last album put out by the Unfit a couple years ago. Worth checking out.

Seen these guys play live a couple times while they were touring with Bouncing Souls and Frank Turner. Put on a great show, catch em if you can.
I was looking at the settings for Connect, hit "Save Settings" before closing, and now some of my phone's default colors have changed. I have lime green and mint for random text in different applications. Using a Google Pixel 7 Pro. Anyone else notice this?
