The 135th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery, was a heavy howitzer unit of the British Army during World War I. Formed in May 1916, the battery was equipped with 8-inch howitzers, which were crucial for siege warfare. The Battle of the Isonzo was a series of 12 battles between the Austro-Hungarian and Italian armies during World War I, fought along the Isonzo River on the Italian Front between 1915 and 1917.
