Hoping to find someone that's interested I am looking for an 8-bay (or more) desktop NAS (diskless). Have some hardware to trade for the NAS (some options below, not everything for the NAS) * 18x 3.8TB SAS SSD * 32x 32GB DDR4 ECC * SuperMicro 12 bay SAS2 chassi (with 2x PSU) * 6x Xeon Gold 6142 CPUs * Supermicro 24 bay SAS3 chassis (2x SQ 930w PSU) Please let me know if this post isn't allowed

Since SATA3 connects at 6gbps, I would assume performance would be the same regardless of using SAS3 or SAS2 backplane? **HBA cards:** SAS3 - 9380-4i4e SAS2 - 9271-4i No plans to add storage via external port on 9380 The plan is to build a TrueNAS / UnRAID server

Curious if anyone is using CasaOS? If so, what made you choose this over another?

I'm currently using Mealie, but going to try Tandoor later this week. I find importing recipes from URLs does not import the right measurements even though the app is set to import metric
