This just isn't true. Part 121 operators develop and manage their own maintenance plans. That is done in conjunction with Boeing and the FAA but their maintenance plans may very well deviate from Boeings prescribed service and intervals per their standard maintenance manual.

Again, I understand the sentiment but this is not an example of them "getting away" with anything.
If anything this is indicative of a healthy Quality Management System given that this condition was identified and contained prior to any impacted articles entering into service.

Look I'm all for the "Fuck Boeing" circlejerk but as someone who actually works QA at an aircraft manufacturer this is likely a whole lot of nothing.
I'd be shocked if you could find a single aircraft of any make in service that didn't have dozens of misdrilled holes.
Without any context this is just fear mongering.

I know, definitely managing my expectations cause of that. Will be interesting to see how he performs relative to Yuki at least.

Really looking forward to seeing how he performs this weekend, hoping he performs in line with all the hype surrounding his Sim work and test time in the Red Bull.

So the general consensus is that these power ratings are a fuckin joke right?

I'd equate it more closely to reading a book as a leisure activity as there are noted benefits to both but neither are strictly necessary for survival.
There's also a degree of mental conditioning to it as well. Once you start feeling and seeing the results, it reinforces the workout itself as the activity responsible for that and makes the workout itself more enjoyable as a result.
Plus I just enjoy pushing myself. Mentally and physically I enjoy a challenge and powerlifting is an easily quantifiable way to accomplish that.

That's how I feel as well, I lift first thing in the morning before work and I feel like it helps carry me through the day.
Also helps to feel accomplished honestly, despite how shitty the rest of the day may be at least I did something to better myself.

Apparently I'm in the minority here but I love working out. Specifically powerlifting. Cardio is ok after the fact but I don't particularly enjoy it during, but lifting heavy is a huge stress relief and something I look forward to daily.

In general i definitely recommend buying used. For those criteria specifically I'd recommend looking for a used Honda Rebel.
If you're open to naked sport bikes with a more upright riding position you could look at cb300, z300, mt-03 which should have pretty reasonable insurance rates as well.
Also kind of depends on your size as well in my opinion, if you're 6'6 320 a 300cc may feel a bit anemic even as a beginner. Regardless I'd recommend erring on the side of smaller displacement for your first bike. While it's true that at the end of the day it does all come down to throttle control, a smaller cc bike will provide a wider margin of error as well as being lighter and more maneuverable.

A Wand of Wonder I gave them early on has provided my party with some hysterical moments.

I'm hoping for them to bump Yuki to Checos seat next season. I doubt they'll do anything mid season, and as much as I'd love to see Danny Ric back in the Red Bull seat I think that ship has sailed.
Yuki in the Red Bull 2024 though? And hell then throw Danny Ric in the AT.
A man can dream.

Yea it's a good question, I'm definitely guilty of it myself. Unsure how best to address it though as the convention is to post articles with the headline verbatim as the post title. Do we change that and just post articles with a spoiler free summary as the title?

Some are actually, from JPL:
"Most Martian clouds hover no more than about 37 miles (60 kilometers) in the sky and are composed of water ice. But the clouds Curiosity has imaged are at a higher altitude, where it’s very cold, indicating that they are likely made of frozen carbon dioxide, or dry ice."

I think I'd like the chrome better if it was cleaner and more minimalist but with all the sponsors all over it just looks cheap imo
First of H.G. Wells work that I've read and I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a lot of Jules Verne though a bit lighter on the technical aspects and heavier on the social commentary. The foresight to predict things like climate change was impressive but it was the implications with regards to capitalism and the system of haves and have-nots that's really sticking with me. Planning to read War of the Worlds next, then maybe The Invisible Man.
