If you are considering branching out, I would also recommend Green Arrow which is about to get a new creator team and street level focus. Just a thought. Enjoy!

Are you talking about stepping into the beginning of the Taylor Redondo run? If so, then I would say yes, it is new reader friendly. A few times it touches on what has happened in previous 5–10 years and there are one or two cross-over arcs but I found it very self-contained as I hadn’t read the title since the 90s and wasn’t lost.

For sure. As someone with a rescue dog as well, that was another fun way to connect to this run. Haley stole the show every time and that was a

Overall, I enjoyed it, especially the art, even though it had somewhat of a lull before the last arc. Still, it should go down as one of the better superhero runs and it’s the only time I have pulled Nightwing since the 90s Dixon and McDaniels run.

The panels are from the recently released Absolute Batman #1 from DC Comics. The word bubbles in a couple panels were edited to tie it to Star Wars.

Fair take.

An ‘absolute’ galaxy far far away.
Hmm🤔, what do others think of this? I have enjoyed Ultimate Spider-Man and Black Panther but not sure about this.

Over time, meditation can help one experience the space between thoughts and explore the energy of feeling. Meditation reveals the truth that there is actually no such thing as ‘our thoughts’ or ‘our feelings’, there is just ‘now energy’ to be aware of and connected to or not.

For sure. If fans want a new TV show, sales of this series will likely influence that.
I’m psyched! Writer seems very passionate about the project.

For those that can wait, Honda’s initial wave of ‘0’ cars are looking promising. My 2002 Honda CR-V is still going strong but I’d like the next car to be a Honda-designed EV. Those will be available starting in 2026.

Always look forward to TMNT and Batman: Full Moon looks promising. I can’t wait to see the glow in the dark cover in person.

This new series is shaping up to be a banger and leave me shell-shocked. Pun intended. 🥷🐢

Lol! I consider myself a big TMNT fan but I imagine it will take a hardcore fan to drop that much for a piece like that. Cool item though!

I understand where you are coming from. I can see how high expectations could have impacted one’s impressions.

Solid take! I also found the horror line well done and liked Kesy in the role.
I would still like to see an animated anthology approach for Hellboy moving forward though. It would give them the opportunity to adapt a lot of the original stories and maybe steer closer to the comic aesthetic.
With that said, I think the filmmakers of the recent film did about as good as they could with the limited budget.

Very similar to my own impressions of this and former movies. Solid take! 👍🏻 The Assembly cut of Alien 3 is a very solid movie in my opinion. I’d rank Romulus just behind it due to some of the fan service maybe not landing consistently with people. I’d see a Romulus sequel if one is made.
Despite a limited budget, I found the movie to be very inspired and well done. I thought the acting was solid and was genuinely creeped out for most of the movie. It isn’t the best adaptation of the character in my opinion—I think the animated movies Sword of Storms and Blood and Iron hold that title—but I think it’s a solid dark horror movie take on the character and enjoyed it much more than the 2019 adaption. What did others think?

I still watch the extended edition DVDs. Now that I am aware of the problems with the more recent releases of the trilogy, I’m going to continue to hold onto these for as long as I can.

Thanks for sharing the video. This makes me want to hold onto the DVD extended editions for the rest of my life.

Yes, I believe so.
Wow! I was very impressed with Terminator Zero on Netflix. Everything including the voice acting, characterization, plot, animation, action, dialogue, etc. was very well done. Not to mention how well some aspects of the narrative resonate. The best Terminator media since T2: Judgment Day or some parts of Sarah Connor Chronicles. What did others think?
I just watched the documentary. As a fan of Hellboy, Mignola, Del Toro and Perlman, it was a real treat to watch and learn more about Mignola’s life and the history of the character. Big recommend! Anyone else see it?
