My partner went out on the town last night. Didn't get home until gone 3am and woke me up because she didn't understand I have work today and need my sleep. Think I got about 5 hours overall. Tired is an understatement! Why don't you women have a ninja switch?

Had some friends round last night. Watched the boxing and got drunk. Went to bed about 2am. Cat woke me up about 7 demanding food! Meows louder than an air raid siren. Climbed back in to bed now and browsing Lemmy. Been a busy week so just catching up with the latest posts.

Sorry, my comment wasn't very clear. On the app page within the playstore, if you scroll to the bottom and read the reviews you'll see the developer has replied to say a fix will be released today. I'm yet to see it though.

There's a fix the dev has just released. See reviews section on the app. He said it'll take a few hours to show in the playstore.

Peanut butter (sometimes with honey), Jam, Nutella, Beans & cheese,
Not all together of course, unless you like to live life on the edge!

I like to shut the curtains, put on the aircon and wait until winter comes! I'm more of an ice and snow kinda person!
The idea of fired pizza and beer does sound appealing though!

I'm a commoner, so it's Scon for me! As humans we tend to cut out words and letters due to laziness, or to put it positively, to save time 😂.

That brings back memories! Got my first ever Yo-yo from woollies! Used to be a weekend visit to that place for me. I think they still sell online don't they? 🤔

I've had a successful week soo far! Got through huge amounts of work today considering my workload and the heat. Got a nice drive down south tomorrow. The Mrs is going to Ghana for University placement for 3 weeks! House to myself until she returns! Soo many things to do, the possibilities are endless! (I'll probably just browse Lemmy and binge TV 😂)

Mines a Challenge. I got it from Homebase for about £275. It is a little loud when the AC kicks in. Sounds a little bit like the burrring noise a pressure washer makes. It's on wheels so it can be moved easily as a bit heavy. If you get the doors shut, the tube out of the window and the curtains shut it gets the room like a little fridge in about half an hour to an hour. You set the temperature you are aiming for and when it hits it, it switches to fan only mode to save electricity.

Portable Air-con unit is well worth the money! Bought mine about 8 years ago and it's still going strong. Downside is remembering to empty the bucket you put the hose in to. Other than that I cannot fault it.

Thank you. Added to the list!

I'm working unfortunately! We don't have air con and not much ventilation. I'm relying on my fan directly on me for the entire afternoon. Parked in a shaded area in hope that I don't take my skin off later when I get in the car 😂 Spent the entire morning doing the usual British thing, complaining how hot it is!
