I would really suggest people to read their privacy policy - it is horrible. Good app but makes no sense for the exchange of privacy it demands.

Aside from what @dska22@lemmy.world said, these are different times. Serie A is much more brutal now with more competition and the continued dominance of PL as the super money league. Every club wants the best for themselves unlike how it was during late 80s/90s or early 00s where an overflowing amount of talent was in Serie A.

LJ has been working very hard - this is beta 24 from no betas a week ago.
And again, it is a beta - some features like Ad-free IAP and submissions are not there, but they will be in there eventually.
Please note this is just a beta and there are going to be bugs, but it works and it works nicely. Have fun.

There will be a single time payment for ad-free as was the case with Sync for Reddit. Any subscription based model is for the features which are going to require running (and paying) for a server. Even for Ultra (the paid subscription model) we would most likely have a lifetime option.
