We wouldn't have a 6-3 conservative supreme court with Clinton, along with a rash of conservative lower courts. Not only have we had extreme fallout from this already. But it will be affecting us for decades.
A bunch of our red states likely wouldn't have swung to extremism, like my home state which went from Asa Hutchinson to Sarah Huckabee-Sanders. I don't know if my kids will legally be allowed to learn that slavery existed in school.

I'm kind of in a different boat with this. I'm paying for quality, not quantity. Especially since I don't have as much free time as I did 20 years ago.
So if I can play through a phenomenal story within a couple months over a 20 hour game (which usually takes me 30 hours) at the height of the hype when people are still talking about it, I love it. Give me efficient storytelling.
In fact, if it's something longer, it kind makes me rethink it whether I want to pay full price. Why rush?

The secretary of state's response filed Monday agrees that a staff member got an e-mail asking for a copy of what to submit. It states that a staff member replied with a Word document. However, the response states that what the staffer emailed was "an internal recordkeeping document" and not any sort of template. The response states that no such template exists. The response also denies Arkansans for Limited Government's claim that attorneys and representatives with the secretary of state's office assured the group it had filed the necessary paperwork.

Jack Black has said he’s cancelled the rest of the Tenacious D world tour after his bandmate Kyle Gass sparked an outcry with a comment about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The comedy rock group were on stage in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday when Gass was asked to make a wish after being presented with a cake for his 64th birthday. He appeared to reply: "Don’t miss Trump next time." Gass also split with his agent following the incident.
Secretary of State John Thurston found that they did not submit a statement identifying paid canvassers by name or a signed statement showing that the paid canvassers were given a required handbook and explanations of state rules. In a letter to the group's representative, Thurston wrote that because of these omissions, signatures collected by paid canvassers are invalid. This leaves the petition 3,322 signatures short of the required number.
I get a lot of spam. In the subject it might say something about Home Warranty. The sender will say Home Warranty (the actual sender will be randomwords@randomwords.com). But whenever I use my email's search engine, to delete all emails that say "Home Warranty", it can't find them. Do people usually just ignore these types of emails?

Reggie Bush has his 2005 Heisman Trophy back, as the Heisman Trust announced Wednesday the formal "reinstatement" of the trophy to Bush amid what it calls "enormous changes in the college football landscape." The Heisman Trust's decision comes after Bush forfeited his Heisman Trophy in 2010 in the wake of significant NCAA sanctions for USC, which included Bush receiving improper benefits during a Trojans career that spanned from 2003 to 2005.

The House on Saturday passed a $95 billion aid package that includes two long-awaited bills with $60.8 billion of Ukraine aid and $26 billion in aid to Israel. The Ukraine bill, which passed with 311 votes in favor, 112 votes against, and one present, will now head to the Senate alongside the Israel aid bill and two others — one with aid for Taiwan and another that forces Tiktok's parent company to sell it.
I'm just curious if anyone is watching. It's been entertaining. I keep wondering if there's a potential spring camp/minor league future for the UFL. They could start popping up in college stadiums during the off season. Imagine if a college team, let's say the Arkansas Razorbacks, had a UFL team that focused on giving former Razorbacks a place to play if they don't go to the NFL. It could even be a way to entice middling players to go to that school. Now do that with any college that wants to participate.
