I am using Syncthing and am happy with it. Syncing my notes, and more, between my phone and two laptops without any issues. I like that I don't need a server like with nextcloud.

Hm, I just upgraded two hours ago and put my laptop to standby. When I don't reboot until the fix is there and update before rebooting I should be fine. Right?

My goal is to spend 100 minutes per week listening and also 100 minutes reading. Usually I achieve a little bit more, sometimes life is just too busy.

I also track the time spent. Seeing the progress is a good motivation for me

IMHO, you should have at least a basic knowledge to start with videos. I.e. know some basic grammar and know some hundred most frequent words. Then start with videos targeted to learners or for children.
