Guess what. I never saw two chromosomes unless I browsed by r/all. You have an ability to curate what you see, both here and on reddit. Blocking and defederating achieve nothing. Unless of course it's an echo chamber you want to live in.

Holy duck! Lemmy has become r/conservative.
I'm a leftie and can't stand tankies, but lemmy is becoming a really intolerant place. On reddit we were all united against u/spez no matter our other disagreements. Here, after only a few months we're talking about blocking instances and communities instead of just joining and viewing the ones that Interest us...
Perhaps it's time to let this experiment run its course.

What are the rules of war against a prison camp? We could perhaps consult the Federal Bureau of Prisons manual, but I did not find the word "war" in it. Unfortunately, I don't read Hebrew, so I came up blank there too.

A few years ago, I set up a monthly donation. Of all things I can use for free on the internet, Wikipedia deserves it the most.

Does that include all the visitors blocked by their paywall?
Edit: I'm referring to NYT.

4 X 50 = 200. Then add some weight for the fence mesh and timber frame/legs. I'd say around 250 pounds or around 110kg.

Google results is exactly what I don't want. It's a shopping mall and interest. The only answers I'm looking for usually come from reddit, which I left. How ironic.

I give a fuck about quality answers.

Is there a guide on how to do this? Quite frankly, it sounds way too complicated for me - using search engine to learn how to use search engines and then having to set it up monthly...

I use ddg and google now, but I'm not happy with either. I have used startpage awhile ago too. Perhaps I'll give it a go again.
I've tried searx, but even simple queries returned no results. I just want sometnig reasonably private that works and doesn't turn the Web into a shopping mall.

I used to be fluent in Russian and I can understand both just as well.

I'm not sure Ukrainian is so different from Russian that it would take very much to learn to speak it and write it. Then again I'm no novelist.

Turrets can spin 360 degrees over and over again. There are many reasons to nave the turet backwards in regular situations. In repair situation it allows access to thr engine compartment. So if this was meant to be a "Polish" joke, the joke is OP.

Then let's teach kids to use Wolfram Alpha.
Recently I've gave up Windows for Linux and installed Ubuntu with KDE Plasma desktop on my pc and laptop from 2007. It's an i7 Intel processor with 8gb ddr ram so I thought it would be fine, but it seems quite sluggish. What distro could I use that would be faster and still fully functional? Thanks for your help in advance.
