If I look at the HA log, the thermostat seems to disconnect and reconnect itself every few minutes. Does yours do that? After looking closer at it, I think this is an issue with the Rheem thermostat not staying connected to the home WiFi network.
Also, have you considered wiring in to the thermostat directly to avoid having to use a Rheem account?

Yea I saw that list, I just don't know how to identify which ones may be an e-ink screen. I'm doubtful any of them are but was just curious if anyone here knows of any that might be e-ink
Is anyone else having issues with the Rheem Econet integration? It worked so well for so long but now it spends most of its time disconnected from Econet. It appears to reconnect every few minutes for a bit but it seems like every time I open the home assistant app, my thermostat is not functioning. The actual thermostat in my house is functioning normally and connected to the network. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Someone on Reddit theorized that he saw the term Delta and associated it with Delta Faucets the company, and that is where the faucet idea of his comes from.
Whether it be phone, tablet or other, just curious if there are any e-ink devices that will reliably run Lineage Thanks

Does it have any segment options - to isolate a specific trail/section to show your best times on that section?
I've found lots of great open source workout tracking apps, but I'm looking for a program that can show me my times on popular segments like certain bike trails, just as Strava does. Are there any free (and hopefully open source) alternatives?
I have a Steam Deck that is connected to my TV 90% of the time. I'd like to replace this with a PC that has maybe slightly higher specs than the Steam Deck. Are there any pre-built solutions that are really affordable?
I'm currently using Pocket to sync articles between my phone and computer. I would like to leave Pocket behind and just sync downloaded articles directly between devices.
I'm looking for an affordable option so I can replace all my normal socks. Not necessarily individual toe socks, but just wide enough in the front to better fit with a wide toe box shoe.

Is it based on ActivityPub? I don't really know much about it other than Jack Dorsey is involved.

I'm all for incremental improvements but these people that laud themselves as environmental heros for owning an electric car need to understand what happens behind the curtain before they receive their electric car, and after the battery is replaced.
Is there any comprehensive proof that EV production is cleaner than ICE production?
chockblock 10mo ago • 37%
Yes I did read the article. I'm not saying that she shouldn't have replaced her vehicle, in fact she probably did make the smartest choice by going for a second hand EV. I'm just frustrated by the people that assume an electric vehicle is somehow "good" for the environment when it is not.
She refers to her car in the following ways:
- "a car that [does] not emit pollution"
- "Zero emission gave me peace of mind that I made the right choice for a world facing climate change"
- "earth-friendly"
Also this statement shows she is concerned about the environment:
"suddenly remembered my intention for buying an EV in the first place. I should have spoken up. Greenhouse gas emissions, carbon dioxide, climate crisis ... These words jumbled in my head. Nobody had even mentioned this life-or-death issue we all are facing."
But EVs are not some sort of silver bullet for the climate crisis. Do we yet have any studies confirming that they are better for the environment over ICE vehicles when considering lithium mining, vehicle production, battery replacement, tire pollution etc?
I hope that the EV revolution is a net positive solution over ICE vehicles, but they are not some sort of magical product that is going to save the planet.
I find this ignorance really frustrating that people believe purchasing an electric car is somehow environmentally neutral. People should be educated on the environmental toll of EV production, lithium mining, tire pollution etc.

Darn, will the trunk grow any taller or is that it?
I trimmed the trunk because it was growing quite tall and spindly. Is there any way to continue growing the main trunk or will it only grow branches now?

I bought a Pinephone out of curiosity and while it has been fun to play with, I am looking to repurpose it to something else. Has anyone found a good use for it, maybe incorporated into a smart home setup or something along those lines?

I remember reading that GOS eventually wants to develop their own hardware, although I'm sure that is many years away.

This does seem crazy. I thought maybe they transfer over all the person's data, but no it says in their FAQ that you lose all your data in the process.

This looks really intriguing. Have you installed it on a raspberry pi? I'm having some difficulties and wondering if there are other packages I need to install first.

Using LibreElec, were you able to get any streaming services running like Netflix or YouTube?
I would like a UI I could use with a remote but the wife still needs Netflix so Kodi wouldn't cut it.

I am looking for a solution to receive WhatsApp messages on my phone. I don't want to install the WhatsApp app on my personal phone, but it is on my work phone and its mandatory for my job. I held out for a long time but it is necessary that I answer messages on there. Beeper.com is enticing but it appears to have a lot of trackers for an app that claims it respects privacy. What do you guys think?
I am looking for a set of wired earbuds with a USBC Jack. I had a set of apple ones with an adapter but I found the adapter too unreliable. This will be for use with a google pixel phone. Anyone got a set they could suggest?
For my phone, I use Graphene OS. What would be the best desktop Linux option to match the level of security and privacy that GOS provides?
I find that the brick is so heavy and the connection point doesn't fit very snug, and the power plug falls out quite easily. Anyone else experience this?
I am currently running Graphene OS and I am very happy with it, but I am not so happy with my Pixel phone. I am wanting to switch hardware that Graphene does not support. Would I be losing many privacy & security advantages by switching to Lineage?
I notice the fan going pretty hard all the way through my gaming sessions. I'm curious if the Steam deck will warn me before I do damage to the machine?
I'd like to rely on Google Play Store less, is there an easy way to get proton apps and keep them updated?
