Whoa, whoa, street-preacher.
No, it's not defeatist to state facts. It's what you do or say immediately after that makes the difference.
Now, we're all feeling the same kinds of stress that would make any of us rattle on like that, and you must know you're not alone or even in the minority with your concern. The majority of people - polls show - want to avoid or to blunt that fate we worry is coming. And with the world swinging a little conservative for a while, it'll be even harder to make the changes now we had to make 20 years ago.
But trust in your fellow person instead of cursing them for indolents when you don't know their situation. If you go off like this at people on the edge of moving from subsistence to again having the opportunity to join you at the protests, you may risk losing them as an ally.
Softly, softly.

Not regularly, but my family was super poor for awhile and our delicacies then are my comfort food now.
We loved hot dog weiners in the Kraft dinner, which is a fair approximation because we couldn't afford KD back then. Ground pepper, and also ketchup when we could afford to be fully blasphemous.
Mom makes a wicked liver-and-onions, but I suspect it wasn't liver so much as tongue, as it was cheap as hell back then. My sister knows the truth and she will.not eat 'liver' again.
Blasphemy and lies, that's it.

Also, try not to take my words out of context.
Clarify the part where you said it's like when you were back in college.
The hard part here is that while you get a chance to restate your point, readers may already expect this one to sound belittling and you'll have to try harder so this one also doesn't sound like you're calling people naive.

If you guys wanna defund the fire dept because some GqP says it sounds edgy WHILE saving tax money for the rich, then please let me not live there. Having lived through a devastating house fire, I'd like to not repeat the experience.

Landlords of shitty places in areas here, where there's very little available to rent, got sick of showing places that are so bad people just noped out of them or ghosted the landlord on a very understandable fashion.
Their solution is to charge $200 for a viewing because people were apparently not serious about wanting a place.
Seems similar.

Oh, it was ultimately a mistake.
It wasn't an error, no. They intended it.
But it was a mistake.

Can't smoke on the balcony,
Legally you cannot smoke here within 100ft of a door or window that ventilates another's workspace or living space as it represents carcinogenic pollution you're willfully emitting despite knowing the risks.
In allowing it, the landlord would be subject to a number of complaints, some of them like human rights violations carrying no upper limit to the compensation -- they could actually be sued for millions in the right extreme circumstances.

I see from the github ticket you need 3.10 .
There's an EPEL clone, apparently, that bundles a python3.10 package.
MAYBE this is your process:
yum* install dnf-plugins-core
yum config-manager --add-repo=https://pkgs.dyn.su/el9/base/x86_64/
yum install python3.10
Then use it like /usr/bin/python3.10
. Remove it and the repo after.
*I avoid using DidNotFinish(dnf) even though I know it's an alias.

Counterexample. We love our little balcony. We have some plants, a bench, and a hummingbird feeder. We take our coffee out there for 'cocktail hour' at 7, and sit, talk, watch the world go by a few floors down, and enjoy each other's company.
If you're not using your balcony, you really should.

Also, see if they have a Groupon and let me know.
Pay-wall link: https://globalnews.ca/news/9938774/air-canada-vomit-seat-passenger-apology/ Air Canada has apologized to customers who were allegedly escorted off a plane for refusing to sit in a chair covered with vomit for the duration of their over four-hour flight. The airline issued a statement after a viral Facebook post claimed two as-yet unidentified female flyers were told there was nothing to be done about the visible vomit on their soiled seats. Oh! AirCanada!
We've been using Yum (and now its "differenter name is betterer" dnf) for what, 20 years? ``` error: rpmdb: BDB0113 Thread/process 13664/139968089683776 failed: BDB1507 Thread died in Berkeley DB library error: db5 error(-30973) from dbenv->failchk: BDB0087 DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery error: cannot open Packages index using db5 - (-30973) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm ``` You think we'll ever get someone with a clue to fix this? Will RedHat going all IBM about source code help?
Okay, so what's with Gitlab and ServiceNow getting so fat on whitespace that they no longer fit in half a 1920x1200 screen properly? What's the standard width that actual professional webdevs are building toward? Is there a standard, or like app dependendencies are they back to pre-y2k "moar moar nom nom" methodologies?
Look. It happens a few times a week, where reps in 3 time-zones will be fucked by an interruption to azure services like o341 or sharepoint (we don't do VMs in azure; not secure enough). I'm used to shadenfreuding Reddit over that, or at least finding it's not just our company firewall and VPN taking the Proverbial. Is there a sub I can join to get the topical junk like that? I'm too indolent - like a fox! - to go to twitter (or ideally mastodon) for a more suitable location; but will I find it there if I do? Can it be here too?
I didn't find this yet, but please downvote to hell itself and drop a link to the proper prior post in comments if you find it. In here, eventually, are some comments from the Fedora project leader about how RHEL trying to kill open access to source and packaging source code is potentially going to affect Fedora, RedHat's ginger adopted stepchild which it usually overlooks. I must say there's a LOT to wait through and one of them has a mic with a bad level at times, and I didn't sit all the way through. Tell me if I've been scammed, but I thought this may have value and I'm hoping to hear confirmation of that too. Enjoy? Or flame me. Happy Friday.
