Holding off as until last day is confirmed, IT being near end of facility teardown.
Retrenchment benefit(?) is like a year of salary, so there's that.
Just glad that I received news with teammates and rest of company, can't imagine getting this on my own.

Yeap, The Watch Steward in post is like MN. I'm partial to the "G Series" as that doesn't need spring bar removal to change out.
Buuuut I think one can't get away from elastic webbing itself stretching out. Left is ~3 month old, One on the right stretched to ~1.5x it's original length, had to trim it after ~5 years of use .
edit: added length-of-use
My strap checklist... 1. infinitely adjustable 2. keyboard friendly hardware 3. quick change 4. fray free 5. durable/long lasting Usual NATO strap hardware ends up under wrist, no good for an all day [keyboard warrior](https://media.tenor.com/DnMOr2rgYaQAAAAd/jim-carrey-jim-carrey-typing.gif). Zulu hardware can be moved away from under wrist, but it's a hit or miss on sizing between holes. Annnd sooner or later, said holes fray. Closest that meet above is [Vario Cordura strap](https://vario.sg/pages/cordura-watch-straps), rivets prevent fraying, Zulu Style is keyboard friendly. Those same rivets though are thick enough that one needs to undo springbar to change straps. Another is [RSM Herringbone Twill](https://www.rsmwatchstrap.com/product-category/herringbone-twill-strap/). all but fraying bit. As it's has adjustment holes that aren't reinforced. Yet another is Marine National/French Navy style elastic straps like [WatchSteward](https://www.thewatchsteward.com/), covers all but the last bit. It unfortunately stretches to a noodly mess after a year of use? Granted said straps [gets seawater donked](https://i.imgur.com/hGpxXNs.mp4) around twice a week. Reserving this on [Garmin Instinct Solar](https://www.garmin.com.sg/products/discontinued/instinct-solar-surf-cloudbreak/). After using springmade for ~3 weeks, I can now check all my nitpicky requirements. From reviews on it's website there was feedback it heavier watches _might_ cause slippage after a while. I _can_ see smooth [seatbelt style](https://springmadeshop.com/products/spring-made-strap-deluxe-mesa-silver/) band eventually doing that. Ridges on the [Ribbed](https://springmadeshop.com/products/spring-made-strap-ribbed-mesa-jade/) and [classic](https://springmadeshop.com/products/spring-made-strap-classic-mesa-gray/) _should(?)_ mitigate that. Hopefully, this helps someone in same predicament?

That super techy soap bag is awesome, that would do away with...
-
toilet paper core wicking moisture from bar soap
-
waterproof mess barrier of valved coffee bag.
I might have that matador soap bag in my Amazon wishlist , but biweekly coffee bean delivery's have me stocked on valved coffee bags.
edit: can't words

:) as it happens sarb017 has been stored like so for about a week now, lost a minute since I last set against NTP/internet time servers. Been winding once daily and amazed by the huge improvement of losing a minute daily before maintenance.
Wrist times been dominated by SBPK003 in new-watch-honeymoon-phase.

Nylon Coffee is skate or bicycle away from home.
They also drop freshly roasted beans on a vending machine so I can pickup beans anytime. I prefer african/floral variety so skipped their South American heavydeliver-to-home-subscription.
[From losing 60 seconds daily, to +3s daily and smooth, closely spaced, solid near horizontal line/graph](https://pxlfd.plus/storage/m/_v2/581060197527445648/bf0f52ff2-92677b/OaJJJ7CjC7uD/nIpxVkgPurgqHWRmvI1MGAcMNdKH8sqlSHS9tPTK.jpg). Local watchmaker took a day to service. Far cry from 3 months and having it sent back to Seiko Japan, when I approached local distributor a decade back.
24 hours after installing bracelet, findings below - yey - thin, tin sounding and flimsy clasp covers not an issue on use - oddly shaped and divers extension doesn't appear to bug my wrists - awesome when walking out and about noontime in the tropics, breeze easily passes through and sweat doesn't soak. - comfortable even when worn sleeping - nah - definitely can feel additional weight - annoying when working on [keyboard](https://media.tenor.com/KbXIBwtIzoYAAAAC/piano-bruce-almighty.gif) all day Since I'm [keyboard bound](https://www.theregister.com/offbeat/bofh/) office hours/weekdays, think I'll relegate bracelet for weekends. Be using [Vario Single Pass Cordura](https://vario.sg/collections/cordura-watch-strap/products/cordura-espresso-brown-watch-strap) for keyboard warrior~ng as the hardware away can be moved away from top and bottom of wrists. [Durian Sago](https://www.burpple.com/f/hyC4vpNz), for the food curious.
Watch bracelet resizing tool finally arrived, managed to right size without losing a (oh-so-teeny-fiddly) collar. Still getting used to additional substancial weight on wrists.
My excuse? 15year old #SARB017 is losing a (nearing)minute daily and rotating bezel's gritty from min 30 to min 45. Solar+GMT Sumo's surprisingly light(coming from SARB017 and Garmin Instinct). Doesn't feel too tall nor overhang on my 7.25in/18.4cm wrist. On Single pass [RSM Field Grey Herringbone Twill strap](https://www.rsmwatchstrap.com/product/field-grey/) until I get bracelet link removal tool. Love this strap as I can position all the hardware away from bottom and underside of wrist, makes [sysadmin'ng](https://www.theregister.com/offbeat/bofh/) a breeze. Seems that I got lucky with alignment draw? Seconds hand appears to be mostly hitting all indexes on the rehaut, missed a by bit from min 45 to min 60. Overall, Chuffed to bits.
