I've been surprised by an apparent reaction to the statement 'there have been no amazing outfield Danish players in the Premier League'. I'd really like to be reeducation. I have no double there have been some decent, even good Danish players in the league (who didn't play in goal), but none stand out as greats. So other than goalkeepers, who would make a top 10 (or even a top 20) Premier League defender/midfielder/attacker from Denmark?

American players in the Premier League. Have they escaped the past stereotypes about their style of play/ability to play football or does it still persist in the English game?

If there is a stereotype then I'd say it's US goalkeepers can be very good, but we've yet to see anything other than a 'decent' outfield premier league level American.

There will be loads of nations where you could make similar comments about though. For example, if I think of Danes then again I can thing of a few good to great goalkeepers, but no amazing outfielders

The big historic 7 European Supergiants are Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus and AC Milan.

Real Madrid are probably top of that list but there's arguments about the order of the other 6.
