TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Amazon is expanding its grocery offerings in 3,500 cities ahead of the holiday season the company announced Thursday. Shoppers will have more options for Amazon Fresh grocery shipments and deliveries from Whole Foods Market, a brick-and-mortar supermarket chain owned by Amazon. The company operates physical Amazon Fresh stores in several states, but none in Florida.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — One day after Tampa officials toured Brightline high-speed rail facilities across Florida, Mayor Jane Castor enthused about the company’s proposed expansion to Tampa. The details are still in the works, Castor said Tuesday, but city’s long-awaited Brightline station will be built in the Ybor City area. “The route is already laid out from Orlando to Tampa,” Castor said. “It will basically go down the middle of I-4 and then come in to the Ybor City area, where the Brightline station will be located.”

This just started happening to me today. I wonder if it has to do with the influx of new users creating new content. I also would like to disable the auto-refresh.

Someone said that if they paid their mods they would lose safe harbor protection and be liable for content that was posted. If that's true makes sense why they can't pay them. But that still doens't justify the insane API increase.

Is lemmy.world connected to kbin? I'm trying to interact with their instances but it doesn't seem to work. kbin.social appears to be one of the faster growing instances. It would be nice if we could interact with them.

I think you're right. Imagining the instances as a bunch of a little reddits with their own subreddits that I can subscribe to and interact with is easier for me to wrap my head around.

I agree that e-mail analogy doesn't make a lot of sense. Honestly just using it was the best way to learn. I'm already finding communities on other instances and commenting and engaging with them.

I really hope not. Switching to a new platform has made me realize how much I wasn’t being social on a social media site. Because of all the toxicity I was only going to a few subreddits. I’ve already created my first community here in Lemmy and I’m commenting and engaging again.
