Is there a self-hosted podcast type app for downloaded youtube videos? (resume playback, etc)

So heres my setup. I use pocketcasts for just about everything that is long form so its all in one spot and I can keep track of episodes and resume where I left off at any time. (it also works on phone/desktop browser, so I can listen anywhere). Besides the podcast functionality, what I normally do with LONG youtube videos is I download the video or audio using newpipe and then import it to pocketcasts and add it to my queue. If I didnt have this feature I probably wouldn't watch as many long youtube videos and such. Is there a self-hosted version of this? My ideal app would be a podcast app that streams from my server (kind of like plex), but that also allows me to download files locally. I would also be able to import "other" media into this app. What would really be nice is if it could just watch certain youtube channels and then give that to me as a podcast feed, so I can download and watch episodes at my convenience. Does anything like this exist? Is there a better way to do what im doing?

One thing I've wondered about the FW is if it will look pretty much exactly the same 3, 5 or even 10 years down the line. Not that I think theres anything wrong with the design (its just about perfect), but I wonder if FW will release a "new version" that isn't fully swappable with the old version. My guess would be they release a new "shell" that may or may not be compatible with the old motherboard, maybe smaller bezels, or whatever new thing is popular at the time. Maybe they just decide to release a very similar shell, but that is made from new materials with some minor changes that make things so that they arent fully backwards-compatible. I think they'll release updated boards for the old gen for maybe 2 generations before only making new board for the "new"design. Im predicting this will happen in around 3-4 generations from now. What do you think?
