"It burns clean." - I've been told this so many times by people who watch fox news. But that is where their knowledge stops. You tell them burning it still releases carbon into the air, and they have nothing else to say

No, not exactly. We work on set schedules too for the most part. I have employees who have lives outside of their work. With daylight savings we start work at the same time everyday. If we'd remove it, then I have to ask them to come in an hour early during harvest. I also have a life outside my farm. I have kids who have to get to school in the morning.
I agree that changing the clocks is bad. All I am saying is do not get rid of daylight savings time. Get rid of standard time. Let's stay on daylight savings forever, so both farmers and non-farmers are happy.

Farmer here. I like daylight saving time. It saves us from getting up at 4:30am during the summer. Now if yall want to stay on daylight time year-round and not get on standard time in the winter, well that is just fine by me.

I ran into this same problem a few months ago. Instead of taking the time to learn how to manage partitions and lvms, i just re-installed debian and put everything on the same partition because i had no reason to keep em separated.

We typically run our characters from 1 to 20. I too enjoy the barbarian aesthetic, and it would be a lot of fun to play it as i can get pretty riled up in character.
I ask because while the fighter is more plain in rp, i feel the fighter will out perform the barb in later levels, and i am wondering if that is the correct analysis
I am looking for a stat stick build where I just hit stuff really hard and a lot. Which do you think is better in phb 2024?

In the US they have rolled out an ag program called "Climate Smart" that pays rice farmers for dropping their water early to reduce methane emissions.

it is common in physics text book to print vectors in bold. because of this, i read yhe equation as force is the cross product of a vector mass and acceleration.
F = ma
There. that looks better

i am thinking they are going to scrutinize black neighborhood polling stations and say they didn't match the hand count of total ballots with the digital total and therefore this polling station is invalid or something

As a Louisiana sports fan it would be pretty dope to play against the hawks, hornets, and magic regularly to have those NFL rivalries run parallel with NBA. But we have lots of teams in our area in the west, and Minnesota should be in the same division as the other midwest teams bulls, bucks, and pistons

I don't think they meant it as a slight against your homeland. You probably don't think about my homeland either, and idk why someone in Iraq would be concerned about Louisiana

It is kind of impressive they had this much mapped out when it hadn't even been 50 years since Columbus's first voyage.

I met a guy whose hobby was painting vulvas. It was a very active hobby and his apartment was covered with his work. He seemed very proud - his gf not so much lol

They like to set the speed of light to be 1. That is dimensionless 1. It makes their calculations simpler this way instead of dragging some power of c everywhere like a loosely connected trailer on a dirt road.
When i took a particle physics class we measured everything in energy (eV). In this case of measuring everything in seconds, acceration would be measured in units of 1/s

Everett's opinions align well with the Progressives of the early 20th century. Both Republicans and Democrats had progressives amongst themselves at that time, so I bet his vote varied based on the candidates rather than being hardstuck one party.

I have in my mind that Everett lives in San Francisco
I have been working on my 5k time, and today I ran at near race intensity to see where i was at. My watch has been estimating my 5k time to be around 31 minutes. Well today I ran it under 28. I go see what it had to say about this, and it drops its estimation to 30:30. "Ok bruh, I see what you're about now.", I say to it. Anyways I am interpreting this as a reminder that my watch doesn't replace a real coach, and I need to put more thought into my training.
Each camera has its own analog connection wire. I am looking for a dvr box that I can connect to a home server and run something like Shinobi. I currently have this dvr box https://ellipsesecurity.com/product/hdtvi08b-tru-view-hd-tvi-8-channel-hd-security-dvr/ , but i don't think it can automatically forward video to a home server
My views on things often differ from those in my social circle. I am often bombarded with article links and videos from people with no words of their own attached. It is very easy to send a link. It takes a bit of effort to form a coherent paragraph expressing a single thought. I would describe this kind of communication as lazy and not very good. I am sure others experience this often as well. I am wondering if there is a proper term for it, or if it is worth trying to coin a term for it.
It has been a couple weeks since i played, so I am not sure if patch 4 has anything to do with it. I have not found any posts about it not working on linux, so i was wondering if anyone else on linux or debian having trouble? edit: I switched to proton experimental and it works
I have a ~22 inch torso. I bought the osprey poco plus child carrier which says it supports 22 inch torsos. I went a couple three hour hikes this weekend and my shoulders were done at the end of each. this isn't normal, right? I am thinking of trying another carrier, but i am worried there are no child carriers for tall people.
