9term is what I use the most. Once you get used to the Plan9 way, you kind of like it. Sometimes I use Terminator as well. Konsole is like Terminator, both are good. They are both nicer than kitty for me. I tried kitty, went back to Terminator as it has menus to edit things, not just a text file.

cp /bin/tacme $home/bin/amd64/acme
change your profile like so:
bind -b $home/bin/$cputype /bin
and you can use your local copy of acme.
Faces on sdf is neinbook
for your new windows command, in your profile, just add the -s argument to rio
rio -i riostart -s

The solution is to run blender from the terminal like so vblank_mode=0 blender
Basically adding the vblank_mode=0 allows Blender to run further than VSYNC allows.

He had back pain, this was his solution for a less painful way to sit.
I have a 6750XT with drmkmod515 drivers on my FreeBSD 14. The gpu drm is working, as games run fine but Blender, the 3d software, does not. It lags like a mofo. Has anyone had this issue and/or found a solution?
*French frying *is the term for **hot swapping**.
[thedaemons.space log ](https://thedaemons.space/log/log.html) So I entered the #occ old computer challenge this year and used the 9front fork of plan9 to do all my computing. You can read about it here. I haven't actually finished the log, gotta add more artwork and screenshots :) But the words are there mostly..
