Are there any self-help books that aren't pro capitalist?

Trying to work through some things and I would like to not find a chapter on manifesting wealth or something.

I know a lot of the mental health industry is guided by profit motives and sets the goal of healing as being productive, so finding psychological approaches that break away from that would be nice.

Is there any author who talks about self-improvement who also acknowledges that work is bullshit?
