today is the final day of navratri!! every year i go to the mandir to do garba but this year i was sick and now i have work so i haven't been able to go, but i get to go today. im so excited

when i think about my indian-ness or hindu-ness, this is the only festival i really think of since its the only one i actively participate in where i feel like i belong. also its still hard trying to describe what garba is to white people lol

My favourite album of this year so far (and by a mile) is Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay, but I also want to mention MINISERIES 2 by SUMIN and Slom because I think it's super underrated!! It's R&B, Soul, and K-Pop. There's also Prece by Luiza Brina which is a pretty good folk album

My favourite song of the year is probably Cry for Me by Magdalena Bay, one of the best pop songs this year imo

but yeah i completely agree, and one positive change they did make is completely reworking the lore for orcs so that their god isn't evil anymore and they aren't stupid brutes. as for species, someone else mentioned ancestries, and they also could have used lineages, and i think both would be less confusing than race
