Thank you, any chance you can look at my other mod request - same mod created several similar communities.

foundations looks good but I'll probably get the quest version.

There's also this community, technically smaller but they do have almost as many comments as the other. virtualreality@feddit.de

I'm about to start vertigo 2 today, I think the demo was 2 years ago?
miketunes_ 1y ago • 100%
Without a doubt, of course I've had a almost 10 headsets over the years - so I'm a bit more of an enthusiast than most. I really want to know about PCVR latency and if it can replace my Valve Index though. Got tired of modding beat saber all the time, would much rather play wireless over from my pc.
Next years Pico models looks good too, eye tracking + same chipset.

Yes indeed. I proclaim a 2 hour lunch break for all subjects once I am anointed king.
Schell games has a proven track record, looking forward to this. Coming this Fall to Meta Quest 3, the YouTube hit - Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell, a fully immersive educational game that transforms the iconic look and feel of their 2D videos for users to explore and learn about the concept of scale. In addition to the core VR game, users will have the opportunity to join the multiplayer theater to watch Kurzgesagt videos with their friends or enter the MR mode and unlock the game’s core life forms and objects creatures which they can interact with in their real-world environment. With Meta Quest, players will utilize drones, scanner rays, and a multitude of other lab tools and gadgets to wind their way through several missions, while teleporting between 5 levels of scale to see how the different properties work in each unique dimension.
I’d like to request to be made a moderator of the !metaquest@lemmy.world community. The mod, @Semi@lemmy.world, hasn’t had any activity in the last 3 months. I tried contacting them, and haven’t received a response.

Well that's disappointing, you know I had a post downvoted to negative awhile ago and wondered why. You would think people would be more welcoming on lemmy. I get how Meta as a company has some horrible practices, but they are pumping the money into VR R&D - benefiting us gamers.
Maybe this forum should less restrictive - Primarily about Quest but general VR tech posts allowed to.

Looks like quest 3 may have some competition. Eye tracking+dp connection are nice.

I'll give the demo a shot. Hopefully it's more like too the top and less gorilla tag.

I hate how they never tell you if can do it at home.

I can't wait for Crystal lake.

Early hands on, guess we'll have to see how much content there is. Dungeons of eternity and hell sweeper VR also have co-op modes, so they've got some competition.

Hmm.. can we pin stuff, the mod hasn't been active for 3 months looks like.

I'm not a fan, I guess it could be okay if the the reviewer is up front about it. If these start popping up on lemmy I'd be annoyed, maybe we can make a rule for the community that no sponsored videos should be posted? I tend to not like video reviews, I'd rather read a 1 page review in 3 minutes vs watching a 15 minute video.

Yes, 2-player
The long awaited follow-up to 2016's Sairento is finally out. I've been looking forward to this, but may wait for the graphical upgrades they are working on. Quest/PSVR2/Steam are all supported. This is some really cool stuff. I can't wait to try it on quest 3.

We're moving to cloudflare, even better on pricing.
Anyone try it yet? I'll probably wait until it's farther along. I've also found chewing gum helps immensely with motion sickness.

Basically search engines all cost money, but you paying with your personal data with Google vs dollars with Kagi. I've only been testing it a few weeks but I think it's worthwhile. Here's what they say about it: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/why-kagi/why-pay-for-search.html

I assume the $55 price on the meta store is incorrect?
This is one of my favorite VR games - a great FPS blend of Unreal Tournament and spider-man style swinging. The player base just wasn't big enough for a paid title and pretty much dried up. However they have now launched free to play and servers are filling back up. Highly recommend, also available on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1384320/Grapple_Tournament/
The vr community on lemmy is still pretty small and we have quite a bit of overlap between this and lemmy.world/c/metaquest. I posted about consolidating VR content to here and wanted input from you guys. https://lemmy.world/post/5071129
The vr community on lemmy is still pretty small. I'm never sure which to post to as they overlap so much. Since the other is more general, maybe that's a best place to use? What do you guys think?
Does anyone know if these are viewable from home, or only at the film festival?
Looks promising, I'm looking forward to their take on pickleball too.
I really enjoy co-op games with friends. This looks pretty good, what does everyone think?
What does everyone think? I wish there was an easier way to browse horizon world's outside of vr. A web directory with reviews and feedback would be great. Or build it into the meta mobile app.
Here are my favorites, any other suggestions? https://www.uploadvr.com/ https://www.roadtovr.com/ https://mixed-news.com/ https://vrscout.com/ https://www.xrmust.com/ https://www.meta.com/blog/quest/
More like music video than a live concert but absolutely amazing 8k stereo quality. It has two songs for free and you can buy more. Looking forward to upsahl's show when releases. Same studio that did Megan the stallion experience.
Could be some competition with rec room.
I ordered as they'll have a quest 3 adapter and it has the grip to putt feature. There are other options on Etsy too if you want something cheaper. Makes the have much more realistic.
I have a facebook group of VR gamers around Baltimore, but looking for some new people to join us. You don't have to be in Baltimore - just friendly and looking to make some new VR friends. Most of us are around 40, have kids, and are pretty liberal. We usually pick one group game a week and make a private match. We're pretty average players. We usually mix up the game type each week, typically we play: Walkabout Mini Golf - we play every new course that gets released FPS Shooters - After the Fall, Breachers, Contractors Social Party Games - Cook Out!, Loco Dojo, Among Us ect. Videos - BigscreenVR - movie or concert, and shared 360 video experiences App Lab/Horizons/Rec Room Worlds - We try out various apps worlds, often doing escape room types
We don't want this community spammed with everyone's personal links. Just use this site as it randomly distributes them.
