Everyone will take the hexaco personality test then uh we'll do some statistics I guess. Get some married couples that still like each other to also take the hexaco then slap the data into some kind of model. And then everyone will have a mathematically ideal partner and no right to complain about it.

  • Hmm... Should I get into dumb VR games like BeatSaber? I want to do something that feels like intense fighting. Biking fast enough it's satisfying is too dangerous. Maybe unrealistic point based karate would be fun. I tried fencing once but it was shockingly lame. I'd join a dodgeball league but there aren't any, everyone wants to do like baseball and volleyball. Hmmmm. I wonder if paintball would be fun or tedious, I could see it going either way.

I clearly just don't understand the appeal of tattoos. If they were something like makeup you throw on temporarily for an event then sure whatever but... the permanent, painful, and expensive option is the one everybody chooses? To put a picture of a bird on your arm? Lmao *why*

Damn did y'all know there's an eclipse coming? Apparently everyone else did... But I can primitive camp in state forests without a permit right? Both PA and NY? They might be crowded but that's just a party... But will I get eaten by bears? How difficult is like three nights in the woods?

  • The "Food is less nutritious now" conspiracy is true - you should be taking a multivitamin
  • BigHaas BigHaas 10mo ago 100%

If food is less nutritionally dense but equally filling, on a population level malnutrition will become more common. The conclusion is that we should all eat more vegetables, I'm not sure what you're talking about with the "fresh produce is bad" thing. This has nothing to do with GMOs or depleted land, it's the result of markets making our food. Produce from local farmers markets is more good than supermarket produce but it's all good.

Here's a study showing people that supplement have less deficiencies than people that don't: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5579642/

Also vitamin D is it's own thing, deficiencies in that are caused by office jobs not diet. It's a hormone. Almost everyone should take it daily.

Mmm I forgot to add krill oil to my list of things to probably take

Omega 3 fatty acids and it's vegan

That is why magnesium pills tend to be big. It's wasteful I guess but it's your bodies fault

  • BigHaas BigHaas 10mo ago 100%

That's not a conspiracy, veggies are bred for speed of growth and shelf stability, not flavor or nutrition. Compare an heirloom garden grown tomato to a super market one. Everybody should be taking a multivitamin.

Can we talk about how Kanye hasn't been cancelled by the general public after his Alex Jones interview?
  • BigHaas BigHaas 11mo ago 100%

You don't need to give to charity to the point you're living in poverty, but if you can significantly improve someone else's life without meaningful impact to your own there is a duty to do so.

The ultra rich are in the unique position that they can order the creation of systems to directly mitigate the worst excesses of capitalism. The failure to do so is what makes them mass murderers. The logic doesn't apply to the proletariat, and under socialism I would hope no individual has that power.
